A very good little restaurant hidden inside a mini-market that offers standard Cajun dishes. Daily lunch specials and carry-out orders available "by the pound." Very nice staff that enjoys their customers.

This is a place where the food truly shines. Good ole New Orleans style Cajun served out of a gas station! I had the etoufee, a shrimp po boy, and a chicken quarter and it was some of the best I have had and the best you can get in Huntsville. The service was good and friendly! The atmosphere is a literal gas station but to me that only makes the experience better! Highly recommend and I already cannot wait to eat there again!

What a fantastic hidden gem tucked away inside the gas station on the corner. Easily some of the best ‘Nawlins cuisine in the city. Gumbo, etoufee, jumbalaya, red beans and rice all were killer. Will be back with a bigger crowd and appetite.

I am generally not one to eat at gas stations. I have nothing against them, it is just that they aren't part of my normal pattern for eating. New Orleans Lunchbox is the only one to get into my lunch rotation list. And I am told everything is good there, but I have never gotten past the Jambalaya. The first time I went I bought a quart because I was in a hurry and have never gotten past it on the menu because it is so good. It is thick with a variety of meats and some heat that gives it a little kick without any tears or need for buttermilk to sooth the burn. These people make a tasty mix for Jambalaya. It is at Holmes and Jordan which is easy access from Redstone or Research park and they do have some seating, but I always get mine to go and eat it on teleconferences. Great stuff. Great people. Definitely worth the stop.

Proof, yet again, that the food served in southern gas stations is better than most restaurants up north! Man... Good stuff!

This is the best kept secret in Huntsville! The restaurant is inside a gas station, there are tables and chairs and plenty of space to enjoy your meal. The food is Cajun and quite delicious. The Scruffy Special has fries, shrimp poboy and gumbo.
